Attorney Shawnda Parker
Attorney Shawnda H. Parker is the co-founder of ParkWest Injury Attorneys and has been a proven fighter and advocate for her clients charged with criminal offenses. She has over eighteen years of experience in Criminal Justice, assisting in high-profile and complex criminal investigations - including child abductions, homicides, organized crime, and human trafficking with premier law enforcement agencies such as the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and the Houston Police Department.
After becoming a licensed attorney, Shawnda began her legal career as a criminal prosecutor and also represented the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services in cases of child abuse and neglect. These experiences enlightened Attorney Parker to the depths of injustices in the Criminal Justice system and led her to open her own criminal defense firm in 2016.
After dealing with her own injuries from a car accident, Shawnda decided it was time to expand her practice and bring that same fight and effectiveness to personal injury law. As a working mother and wife, she knows that the pain of the injured affects the entire family and understands the anger and frustration felt when the insurance company refuses to do the right thing. Attorney Parker believes that her experience as an investigator, prosecutor, defense attorney - and personal injury client - gives her a unique ability to relate to her own clients and aggressively fight on their behalf.
